Explore the relationship between your body and the static pole in this movement-focused class. Through intentional transitions, traveling patterns, and dynamic movement around the pole, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of body mechanics, force, momentum, and control.
This class focuses on how you move, not just what moves you can perform. Students will build strength and body awareness while learning to navigate the pole with greater efficiency, control, and confidence—especially when traveling down, around, and between the pole.
Expect drills and movement explorations designed to improve:
Body awareness and positioning
Transitions and pathways around the pole
Control through changes in direction and level
Understanding of force, momentum, and resistance
Strength and stability for static pole movement
Smooth, intentional movement quality
Perfect for: Students who want to strengthen their static pole foundations, expand their movement vocabulary, and become more confident and intentional in how they travel and transition around the pole.
Mixed level class. Students should be able to demonstrate pole safety and foundational static pole moves such as climbing, pole sit, and knee hooks.
